Lincoln Center PTA Meeting Minutes
Monday 19 March 2018 at Lincoln Center Media Center
In attendance: Pamela Bakken, Missy Mulroy, Debi Stoven, Nikki Harrison, Dawn Kelly,
Sadie Benson, Stephanie Sparks, and Elaine Lehmann
Meeting was called to order by President, Pam Bakken at 6:02pm.
Approval of Minutes:
Nikki Harrison moved to approve February 2018 and March 2018 minutes as recorded.
Missy Mulroy seconded the motion. All approved. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report (Stephanie Sparks):
1st grade teachers are using money separately- purchasing supplies
2nd grade almost out of money $131 left.
Spirit Wear (Pam Bakken):
Got crew neck shirts in.
Crocheted Hats were dropped off today.
Paid Claire Holsen $10/hat – received 6 adult hats and 6 child sized hats
Pam and Stephanie will get together to discuss establishing a line item for Spirit Wear.
Dr. Webb:
Today at 6:30 will be sleep study/school start time study meeting.
Will discuss how teens need more sleep for better health.
Last hour will be for community questions.
No decision has been made as to how to change, if we change. There are a lot of options.

Cinco de Mayo theme
Teacher feedback – baskets- teachers seem to be on board with providing baskets for silent auction.
Miss Baxter’s room will be “gathering spot” for baskets.
Vendors (Sadie)- haven’t started advertising
-need details
$20/table rental – 8 ft. table
Will use side parking lot.
Vendors can unload after 4:00--- will request parking lot cleared by 3:30pm
Require vendor to provide donations for drawing
Possibly provide a sheet with coupons.
Fire truck- will park for photos
No rides
Food-
Lions- waiting on their decision. If they provide food will be hot dogs/ brats.
They will keep enough money to cover their costs. The PTA will be given any provit.
Mexican Restaurant
“Fair Food”: - sno cones, pickles, funnel cakes, etc.
Will need electricity
Inflatables
Boltz’s Family Martial Arts- requested a silent auction donation.
They have a moon walk inflatable and wonder if they would let us use for this event
Looking to rent an “obstacle course” inflatable “game” type inflatable
Pie in the face- Student ambassadors will be running this booth with all proceeds from the pie in the face
activity going to the student ambassadors.
Dunk Tank: - Sadie will explore this option.
Photo booth- Orthodontist will be bringing this.
Face Painting: Key Club (from the high school) will provide.
Jaclee will make signs for us.
How charge for activities?
$15 for a wristband providing unlimited games and inflatables (excluding premium activities of
silly hair, pie in the face and dunk tank)
Tickets: $0.25. most activities will require 4 tickets.
Box tops: 1 box top = $0.25/1 ticket
60 box tops = 1 wrist band
Incentive for purchase of wristband- If purchase wristband, name will entered into a drawing for
a special prize. Prize Drawing will be held just prior to movie.
Next Family Fun Night Meeting will be held April 3, 2018 at 6:00pm at Central Square.
Staff Appreciation:
1st full week of May
Sadie Benson motioned to adjourn at 7:53pm. Pam Bakken seconded. All approved. Motion passed.
